Preliminary root cause: A configuration change introduced in a previous Snowflake release was not compatible with the most recent release, which caused the virtual warehouse start and resume delays experienced by affected customers.

A root cause analysis (RCA) document will be published within seven business days.

Current status: We've disabled the configuration change and have received confirmation from a subset of affected customers that the impact is resolved. Our internal signals also indicate the issue is mitigated, and we'll continue to monitor the environment until we are confident that all services are functioning properly.
