Between approximately 12:10 AM and 2:41 PM CDT on October 1, 2026, US ACH payments processed through sonarPay experienced a high failure rate, returning "Transaction processing failed" errors and impacting overnight autopay runs during a critical billing period. The issue originated with the payment processor, not Sonar itself, and credit card payments were unaffected. The processor resolved the underlying issue, after which Sonar automatically retried impacted autopay transactions, while non-autopay failed payments required manual retry by customers.

This incidnet has been resolved.
The ACH processing issue has been resolved by our payment processor, and transactions are processing normally.
We are retrying impacted autopay transactions and expect to complete that process by end of day. No action is needed for autopay customers.
Non-autopay payments that failed will need to be manually retried.
We are continuing to monitor processing and recovery.
Since approximately 12:10 AM CDT on October 1, a high number of US ACH (bank account) payments processed through sonarPay are failing, including overnight autopay runs. Affected payments return a "Transaction processing failed" response. We've confirmed the failures are occurring with our payment processor, not within Sonar, and have escalated directly. We're working with them to restore service as quickly as possible. Credit card payments through sonarPay are not affected by this issue.
We ask that you to hold off on manually retrying failed ACH payments until we confirm service is restored. We know the first of the month is critical for your billing and collections, and we're treating this as a top priority. We will continue to post updates here as soon as they become available.
We are currently investigating this issue. We are seeing a higher than normal failure rate for ACH payments with sonarPay processor.
