We have deployed an upgrade to PODs in regions that are in off-peak hours, successfully restoring performance to acceptable levels based on our validations. We plan to implement the same upgrade on prod-useast-b during its off-peak hours. Meanwhile, our team is working to minimize the slow performance while preparing for tonight's deployment, which will occur after 5 PM Pacific Time.
We will provide an update upon significant developments or sooner if additional information becomes available.
On July 29, 2024, at 12:30 UTC, the Tableau Engineering team identified a feature degradation on prod-useast-b. This issue is a recurrence of the degradation that occurred yesterday, and remediation efforts are currently in progress. Customers may experience slower-than-expected connections of up to 20 minutes on some API calls to prod-useast-b.
We will provide an update in 60 minutes or sooner if more information becomes available.
We are investigating a potential cause of the issue.
