At 19:25 UTC on October 20, Salesforce Technology confirmed the all-clear after successfully verifying and validating all services. We will conduct a thorough investigation to identify the technical trigger and root cause and implement preventive measures to ensure this issue does not recur.

The Technology team has restored service to the PODs based in the eastern region of the Americas and Canada through restarts. We are closely monitoring the recovery of the UK POD.

At 15:34 UTC, on October 20, 2024, the Technology team began receiving alerts indicating that the Tableau Cloud service is unavailable for customers. The team is analyzing logs and working to determine the trigger. Some customers are able to log in but once logged in are unable to use the service.
