This discrepancy is due to the way our status page provider (Hyperping) calculates availability — based on automated uptime monitors for each individual service and independent of downstream dependencies.
We’re actively working with our provider to improve how availability is reported so that uptime metrics more accurately represent platform-wide incidents, not just the results of service-level monitors.
