Scheduled UGAB Data Center Power Maintenance

After monitoring the situation, Information Technology Services (ITS) has confirmed the stability of network access at Boyd Data Center. The system should continue operating normally.

Power maintenance at UGAB has been completed. No further interruptions or issues expected. We will continue to monitor this system for stability. If you are still experiencing issues with access, please contact the USG Service Desk at support@usg.edu or 877-251-2644.

One or more cabinets on the lower section did lose power. It appears that the power to the cabinets have been restored as well as the respective services. Power work is still on going as the PeachNet optical gear is still on redundant power.

We are continuing to investigate this issue.

University of Georgia (UGA) has started their scheduled data center fuse panel maintenance in the Boyd building. It appears some devices did lose power.

Communications Consulting Group (CCG) is investigating. Updates will be posted here as they become available.
