From 15:03 PM PT Jan 31st 2023, our data processing component has started to process incoming data with latency. All customers are experiencing at most 2 hours of lag in their charts (with an average of less than 30 minutes). We have identified the root cause and we are in the process of deploying the fix. There is no data loss in this incident and no further action is required by the customers.

Our data processing systems are delayed. This incident started at 4:43pm UTC. Current status: a) Our ingestion systems are working as expected and no data is lost. Our processing systems are not processing newly ingested data through '/batch' API. b) Customers ingesting data through /batch, S3, GCS, Snowflake ingestion will see delayed metrics for the last 60 minutes. c) All customers would see delayed data export from Amplitude to their cloud storage (S3, GCS) or Data Warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake). We are investigating the issue and will post an update in an hour or earlier if we identify the issue.

Data ingestion latency on /batch endpoint
On Nov 29th 8:35 AM PT, all our customers using /batch endpoint are experiencing up to 3 hours of latency. As a result, these data may show up late in the UI. We have identified the root cause and we are working on a resolution. There will be no data loss and no further action is required from our customers.
