Resolved Maintenance Scheduled Maintenance in Progress
Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. As scheduled, trading has been temporarily halted at 01:00 UTC for a minor upgrade. The system will be in cancel-only mode until 01:05 UTC. We plan to bring the system back up at approximately 01:30 UTC in cancel-only mode for five minutes. Trading will resume at approximately 01:35 UTC. From the halt of trading until continuous trading resumes, there will be no Mark Price updates and hence no liquidations. While this is a minor update, the process may take longer depending on a number of factors. During the upgrade, relevant updates will be shared here.
Resolved Minor Suspected Cloudflare Outage: BitMEX Intermittent Connectivity Issues
We are aware of the BitMEX website and API experiencing intermittent connectivity issues for users in some, but not all, locations. We believe this is related to an issue with Cloudflare, which has reported “widespread issues” with its services and network [https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/]. These issues do not appear to be limited to BitMEX; other crypto websites also appear to be affected. Funds are safe; we will share an update shortly.
Resolved Minor BitMEX Homepage Temporarily Unavailable; Trading Unaffected
We are aware of the BitMEX.com homepage website being unavailable for users, though all trading via the BitMEX.com/app, Websocket, and API services remains available. While we implement a fix, we ask that all users access trading via app, Websocket, or API as normal. We will share an update about the homepage shortly and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Resolved Minor Log In and Register Actions Redirecting to 404 Page
We are aware of some users who access BitMEX via the Log In and Register pages being redirected to a 404 page. This is a UI issue and trading is not affected. While we fix this, users who are affected can navigate to the correct page by clicking on the BitMEX logo in the top left hand corner of the screen, then selecting the intended destination. While we implement a fix, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Resolved Minor Intermittent High Latency on Frontend Web and API Services
We are aware of intermittent high latency experienced on frontend web and API between 22:40 UTC and 22:55 UTC, which has now resolved, and are working to monitor and investigate. Trading performance is currently stable. Please stay tuned to Statuspage for further updates.
