Outage Details

A recent update performed by Microsoft might affect some Outlook web add-ins and prevent them from adding content to emails. CodeTwo add-ins are affected as well (signatures are not added). The problem concerns Outlook version 2402, build 17328.20162, Current Update Channel from March 4, 2024. We're in touch with Microsoft product groups to help them resolve the problem but we can see that updating Outlook to the newest version resolves the problem. To fix the problem now, update Outlook on Windows to the most recent build: version 2402, build 17328.20184 (File > Office Account > Update Options > Update now). To check what version of Outlook you have please go to File > Office Account > About Outlook. Other Outlook versions and Outlook for Mac/iOS/Android do not seem to be affected. Signatures added in the server-side mode are added normally.

Microsoft will be looking into this issue because the problem is on their end. As mentioned in the previous update, the problem concerns Outlook version 2402, build 17328.20162, Current Update Channel from March 4, 2024 and is limited only to a subset of users.

We have been unable to reproduce the problem neither in the affected region nor anywhere else on any Outlook version, but we would like to remind you that the problem can be fixed by updating Outlook on Windows to the most recent build: version 2402, build 17328.20184 (File > Office Account > Update Options > Update now).

Since this incident is not related to CodeTwo services or infrastructure, we will mark this incident as resolved. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our Technical Support Team: https://www.codetwo.com/company/contact
