We’re getting reports of some users not being able to connect with wireguard through the android and iOS IPVanish app – our engineering team is investigating.

Some customers unable to connect via the App
We have had reports of customers unable to log into the app, and those that are already logged in cannot connect via WireGuard. The issue has been identified and a fix is being worked on. In the mean time, we advise customers who cannot log in via the app to take a look at our Manual Configuration options on our support site. For those who are already logged in, please use a different VPN type until we've implemented a fix. We will update this post once more information is available.

We have been alerted to an intermittent problem with IKEv2 in our Android App and are investigating the cause. If you are encountering this issue, it is recommended you choose a different VPN type. We will update this incident when we have more information.
