This incident has been resolved, although we will continue to monitor throughout the evening.
We have implemented fixes across multiple areas of our infrastructure and we are continuing to monitor performance.
We have identified the underlying cause of the issue (which is related to a database cluster) and are taking steps to address it. We will update again once we have more information to share.
We continue to investigate, and note that the 500 errors are coming from more than just the post-authentication landing page.
Want to note that sites are still mostly functional. The errors are presenting immediately after login only as of now. Authentication is processing, but the landing page after login is throwing errors. We are still investigating the cause of this issue. In the interim, you can reload the site after authenticating, and it should work for you. We will update again soon once we have more information to share. - S.A.
