We've got confirmation from AWS that this issue is affecting the whole us-east-1 region and AWS is actively working on a fix.
Due to AWS networking issues in us-east-1 we are experiencing problems with multiple services in the US region. We are currently in contact with AWS and we will report back as soon possible.
