The Salesforce Technology team has identified application pods that were in an unsatisfactory state. To mitigate this issue, new application pods have been recreated. The teams are validating results and monitoring performance.

The Salesforce Technology team has explored the possibility of performing a rollback on the impacted instances to bring customers out of impact. That activity, however, has been put on hold for now because the root cause is not fully understood at this point. The Technology team is exploring multiple additional paths to resolution.

The Salesforce technology team are examining what steps can be taken to restore the service. As this feature disruption is understood to be a result of a recent change case a rollback to a previous version is being explored as a remediation step.

The Salesforce Technology team is continuing their investigation into an intermittent feature disruption impacting customers using the Business Manager feature switches. Customers may see their personalized feature switch values return briefly before being reset to the default values. Relevant teams are actively exploring routes to remediate the impact.

At 12:30 UTC, on January 30, 2023, a recent change implemented by the Salesforce Technology team resulted in a feature disruption for customers using the Business Manager feature switches. The change has reset the feature switches to default values. This is only impacting customers with personalized values in the feature switch. Customers may see a variety of issues depending on how they use feature switches, for example, in some cases orders may not be processed as expected.
