We believe the work done by Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) on their network should now be complete and issues related to slowness of EMIS should now be resolved.
We are still in communication with EMIS regarding the issue they raised about "the release of EMIS Web Version 9.29.1 to some practices in Wales, causing API calls to the 'GetMatchedPatients' call to fail" and will post an update when we have one from EMIS.
We have received the following update from EMIS:
"We are aware that following the release of EMIS Web Version 9.29.1 to some practices in Wales, API calls to the 'GetMatchedPatients' call are failing.
We have identified the root cause and are working on developing a resolution which will be released in a future EMIS Web release as soon as possible. We expect to be able to provide an update by Thursday 24th July 2025.
We regret any disruption this may cause"
We will of course share any further updates that we receive from EMIS on this case.
We are investigating an issue affecting the matching of patient triage requests within the inboxes of practices in Wales.
Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) are currently fixing an issue in their network that was recently identified. The fix should be implemented by 23rd July.
We will be monitoring performance after their works have been completed to confirm if the issue has been resolved.
We have identified that Accurx is experiencing issues connecting to EMIS, which we have now raised with the EMIS team.
We will provide further updates about their investigation as soon as EMIS provide more information.
