Detected Mar 2, 2026 7:40 AM UTC · Resolved May 4, 2026 8:41 PM UTC · Duration 2 months

Aruba Networks' Cloud Orchestrators in the ME-Central-1 (UAE) region were affected by a major AWS power outage that impacted multiple availability zones, causing high error rates, instance launch failures, and significant service disruptions across EC2, S3, and DynamoDB services. The incident lasted over 1,500 hours due to localized power issues affecting two of three availability zones in the region. AWS worked to restore power and connectivity while recommending customers failover to alternate regions during the extended recovery period.
