The issue has been resolved and continuous monitoring for the past few days has not shown any recurrences in the behavior.
We are continuing to monitor for any issues and working on identifying the root cause.
We are currently monitoring the datacenters - they have been up without any blips for last 8+ hours now. Will continue to monitor and close the incident once the RCA has been completed.
We are continuing to investigate this issue.
The issue is restricted to applications hosted on the Active DDoS prevention service (or) for all applications that are hosted in the legacy datacenters hosted in the NAWE regions. This can result in intermittent outages in accessing the applications till the issue is completely resolved.
Please note that applications hosted purely in any of the Azure regions are NOT affected.
