Our engineering team will be upgrading the Barracuda Managed XDR Collector Appliance infrastructure on July 30, 2025 at 3:00pm EDT.
To ensure your log ingestion service remains operational after the infrastructure change, please add a firewall rule to permit outbound traffic to elastic-agent-on-prem.ingest.skoutsecure.com on TCP port 5044, similar to the preexisting system’s URL: a96190b49bd294a5fbb3725ff20aab78-c7f64fe7557a87d2.elb.us-east-1.amazonaws.com:5044. Given the timeline, please ensure this update is completed your earliest convenience.
Barracuda will continue to use both the new and preexisting systems. Therefore, please continue to permit outbound access through your firewall to the preexisting system URL.

Our engineering team has rolled back the change and postponed the planned maintenance by one week to provide additional lead time for partners to update their firewall rules. We have rescheduled the planned maintenance for August 6, 2025, at 3 PM ET
