Barracuda XDR encountered an issue with the ingestion of Windows events, which resulted in the mislabeling of Windows logon events as firewall events from August 21, 2025, to August 25, 2025. Our engineering team has identified the root cause of this issue and has implemented a hotfix to rectify the problem in all affected sensors. This incident has been resolved, and the windows events ingestion service is fully operational. Our engineering team will continue to work on re-ingesting those mislabeled windows events.
