Active Issue Alert – Blackbaud ID – Multiple Products - #000642797

We recently resolved an issue that prevented users from signing in or using features in their solutions. You should now be able to sign in to your Blackbaud solutions and services with your Blackbaud ID.

Like many organizations across the world, several Blackbaud solutions and services, including access using Blackbaud ID, had varying degrees of performance degradation due to a global Microsoft Azure outage on October 29, 2025.

As of 8:05 p.m. ET on October 29, 2025, all Blackbaud solutions/services impacted by this incident have returned to full functionality.

We are seeing improvements in impact to Blackbaud solutions/services caused by an outage with Microsoft Azure, including successful log in attempts using Blackbaud ID. We will continue to evaluate and monitor our solutions overnight. We will update again tomorrow by 10 a.m. ET. Please continue to follow this page for additional updates.

While we continue to monitor varying impacts to Blackbaud solutions due to an ongoing Microsoft Azure outage, Microsoft has stated that they expect full mitigation of the Azure Front Door outage by 7:20 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. After the Azure outage has ended, we expect impacts to Blackbaud solutions to diminish. Our teams will continue to assess any further impacts from this outage and will post updates as we learn more.
