Microsoft Teams Unable to Send or Receive Images

Microsoft has alerted us that some users may be unable to send or receive images in Microsoft Teams. This issue impacts image messages within Chats, Channels and Meetings. Microsoft is currently working to resolve the issue.

Current status: While testing the fix for the retry logic we identified additional changes which were required, delaying our previously provided ETA. We're making the necessary changes and are now intending to deploy the fix during off-business hours to ensure users don't experience unintended impact. We now expect this change to be deployed by Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at approximately 12:00 PM UTC. Out of an abundance of caution, we'll continue to monitor the service through standard business hours to ensure impact does not reoccur.
Our ongoing investigation into the underlying cause involves many workstreams, and we're making additional changes as needed to further drive full resolution of this issue.
