Outbound Calling Issues from Cisco IP Phones

OIT Telecom has received reports of issues placing outbound calls from Cisco IP phones on campus. Engineers are actively investigating the issue. Further updates will be provided as the investigation continues.

The issue has been identified to be an issue with one of the campus upstream voice providers which is preventing users with Cisco IP phones from calling off-campus phone numbers. Calling within campus and 911 calls are still fully operational. Engineers are actively working with the upstream voice provider to resolve the issue. We will continue to provide additional updates as restoration efforts progress.
