Customers attempting to start a direct message chat with a new contact from the Chat Web search bar may receive the error “Can’t start a direct message right now. Try again later.” Customers can attempt to start a new direct message using the "New Chat" button. Mitigation work is currently underway by our engineering team. We do not have an ETA for mitigation at this point. We will provide more information by Wednesday, 2025-01-22 12:00 US/Pacific.
