Hootsuite experienced an 18-hour service disruption where Instagram Reels and Stories with video failed to publish or schedule through both their web and mobile applications. The issue originated from Meta's systems and affected users attempting to post video content to Instagram Business profiles. The problem was resolved after Hootsuite's engineering team worked directly with Meta to address the disruption.
We can confirm that Instagram Reels and Stories video publishing is now fully operational. Publishing and scheduling Instagram posts containing videos should now be working as expected. Thank you for your patience while Meta addressed this matter.
We continue to monitor this situation while Meta works toward a resolution. In the meantime, both Instagram Reels and Stories with video continue to be impacted by these failures.

We have determined that the errors affecting Instagram Reel publishing originate from Meta's end.
