Delays receiving two-factor authentication codes by text message

Text message delivery of two-factor authentication codes are sending successfully.

Text message delivery of two-factor authentication codes appears to be recovering, and affected users are completing sign-in again. We are monitoring closely and will confirm here once delivery is fully restored.

Some users signing in to Juniper Square are not receiving their two-factor authentication code by text message, or are receiving it after a delay, which prevents them from sign-in.

Reports so far are concentrated among users on one mobile carrier, AT&T, and initial indications point to a delay at our upstream text message delivery provider, Twilio. We have escalated to that provider and added a notice to the sign-in screen for anyone affected.
