Label Generation Failures via EasyPost

We are investigating an issue in-which one of our third-party label generation providers, EasyPost, is failing to generate shipping labels. Will will report back with updates within 30 minutes or once the issue has been identified, whichever occurs first.

EasyPost has declared an incident for their USPS integration. While likely related, we are still investigating errors we're observing with other carriers via EasyPost. Another update will be posted in 30 minutes or when we have identified root cause, whichever occurs first.

We have confirmed that all EasyPost label generation failures observed across carriers are due to an EasyPost incident. As of 2:41p EDT, carriers serviced through EasyPost other than USPS should be successfully generating labels.

We will continue to monitor the EasyPost USPS issue for a resolution. In the meantime, we are working on bulk regeneration of labels that have errored due to non-USPS label generation failures via EasyPost.

We are currently regenerating non-USPS labels that had previously failed via EasyPost. Due to rate limits, labels will be regenerated progressively over the next 120 minutes.

We will continue to monitor the EasyPost incident regarding USPS label generation. Once the incident has been resolved, we plan to regenerate USPS labels that have failed via EasyPost. Next update will be posted once we start the label regeneration process.

EasyPost has resolved this issue, and we are seeing labels being generated successfully through USPS.

We have begun regenerating labels that were impacted during this timeframe. Due to the wide elapsed time in-which this incident occurred, label generation volume is large. We will be generating these labels over the course of the next several hours to ensure we don't incur rate limit errors from EasyPost.
