User impact: Users are unable to utilize screen sharing, meeting stage, and video in Microsoft Teams desktop.
More info: The issue is limited to certain Windows Insider Program users using Microsoft Edge Beta version 145.0.3800.13. A fix is available in 145.0.3800.17 Beta. Devices running Edge version 144 or earlier are not affected, and no action is required for those versions.
Impacted users will see blank screens when attempting to view any screen shares, meeting, and video content.
To see full resolution of the impact manifesting within Microsoft Teams, affected users need to restart Microsoft Edge to ensure the updated version (145.0.3800.17) is applied, and then restart Microsoft Teams.
Current status: We've completed our code fix and begun deploying our fixed build version throughout the affected environment, which we're anticipating should be fully released by our next scheduled update. Impacted users will need to restart Microsoft Edge and then Microsoft Teams in order to see remediation following the deployment of the fix.
