Outage Details

We are currently experiencing some technical issues which means the eTMA system is unavailable. This means that you cannot submit your EMA/TMA at the moment.

If an urgent EMA /TMA needs to be submitted on the electronic-tutor-marked assignments (eTMA) system during this period:
• Attach the eTMA file to an email and send it to etma@open.ac.uk. Please only submit the eTMA by email if you are unable to do so via the website.
• In the subject field you must put your Personal Identifier number, your module code, and the tutor-marked assignments (TMA) number, all separated by a slash e.g. P1234567/B999/01.

Please note that the email submission of the TMA/EMA isn’t immediate and there will be a delayed receipt. If there’s no email receipt within 12 hours, the submission has been unsuccessful. For this reason, if submitting by email plenty of time should be allowed for the EMA/TMA to be received.

For help submitting your EMA/TMA by email contact Computing Helpdesk on +44 (0)1908 653972. Visit https://help.open.ac.uk/contact to find our opening hours or to start a Web Chat. Please don’t email EMA/TMA directly to tutors.

We are working to resolve the problem as quickly as we can. Please accept our apologies for any concern or inconvenience caused by this issue.
