Paessler's PRTG Hosted Monitor instances in AWS regions me-central-1 (UAE) and me-south-1 (Bahrain) were impacted by an AWS infrastructure issue affecting multiple services in specific availability zones. The company migrated affected customer instances through multiple regions, initially to me-south-1 which also experienced issues, then unsuccessfully to ap-south-1 (Mumbai), and finally successfully to ap-south-2 (Hyderabad). The incident was resolved after 62 hours when all customers were moved out of the impaired data centers, and Paessler temporarily removed the affected regions as options for new subscriptions.
