Zayo Fibre break between Milton Keynes & Hemel Hempstead

We continue to see the service restored on our optical bearer. Works still continue onsite for any remaining services that are impacted on dark fibre routes.

Our engineers are splicing the remaining tubes on the last joint, we continue to see services recovering as the splicing progresses and any services that remain down once the engineers have concluded the last tube will be addressed individually, Additional resource is en route to site to support individual service tests .

Our engineers are splicing the remaining tubes on the last joint, we continue to see services recovering as the splicing progresses.. Next update to follow at 14:45 GMT or before.

Our OSP team are onsite and have installed Bridge cables either side of the damage to divert services onto a separate cable which has not been impacted.

Our engineers are splicing the final joint in the solution at this time.

Hello,

We are aware of an issue between Zayo Milton Keynes and Zayo Hemel Hempstead.

Our OSP team are onsite and have installed Bridge cables either side of the damage to divert services onto a separate cable which has not been impacted. The engineers onsite have completed splicing at 3 of the 4 joint locations, the engineers are now working on the last joint.

Pulsant are aware of a 3rd party partner experiencing an issue between Milton Keynes and Hemel Hempstead. Initial investigation indicates this a a fibre break.

Field engineers are onsite at fault location site and work has begun to resplice damaged cables.

Pulsant are in constant contact with Zayo and will provides updates of progress.
