Our cloud services provider is currently investigating an issue related to retrieving email addresses using the SharePoint Online Client-Side Object Model (CSOM) API that is impacting On Demand Migration for OneDrive migrations in preserving user-related authorship metadata (created by and modified by).
As a precaution, we recommend that customers wait before running new migration tasks where such metadata is required to be preserved until the issue has been resolved and a mitigation has been deployed. Once the issue has been resolved, a re-migration of OneDrive content will be required to update user-related metadata for authorship on both files and folders.
You can follow real-time updates from with the M365 admin center on the Service Health portal for the issue with the issue ID: SP1196502 and further information from Quest in our knowledge base article here: https://support.quest.com/kb/4381613.
