We’re pleased to share that the Bullhorn integration has been fully restored for all Bullhorn agencies, resolving for all Bullhorn Entities in Sense.
Note and object writebacks that failed during the outage have been successfully reprocessed for all agencies with active credentials in place.
Field writebacks attempted during this time were not automatically backfilled, as values updated during the outage period may have since changed. If you believe specific field writebacks need to be retried, please reach out to your CSM or our Support Team and we’ll work through those on a case-by-case basis.
Action items for affected customers:
Check your Data Integration tab in the Sense UI and confirm that it is now displaying the green icon. If it still shows red, click “Check Connection” to refresh the status. No credential changes are needed.
When re-enableing your automated workflows, if unsure about reactivating workflows we recommend reviewing your active audiences, trigger configurations, and frequency limits to avoid unintended sends from any data that may have shifted during the outage. Your CSM can walk you through the SenseIQ Pre-Activation Checklist if helpful. Please find our Knowledge Base Article on the Pre-Activation checklist below:

We appreciate your patience throughout this incident. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Sense Support Team at https://support.sensehq.co/hc/en-us/requests/new if you have any questions or notice any discrepancies.
We are seeing a majority of affected customers have had all integrations restored, and Sense is working with the few that still need help as well as monitoring for any reoccurrences of this issue. If any workflows or automations were deactivated during this downtime, please move forward with re-activating them at your convenience.
Note Writebacks have been queued and are reprocessing currently. To check the status of these, please go to the Data Audit tab in the Sense UI. Time of completion will vary based on volumes and customers.
Please reach out to our Sense Support team at https://support.sensehq.co/hc/en-us/requests/new if you see any discrepancies and our team will investigate on a case by case basis
We are continuing to ensure all affected customers has their connection restored. When checking the Data Integration tab in your Sense admin — a green status indicator confirms your connection to Bullhorn is fully restored. If you are seeing this indicator is still showing Red, please select "Check Connection" to refresh the status.
If it is still showing Red after refreshing the status please reach out to your CSM or our Support team at https://support.sensehq.co/hc/en-us/requests/new and we'll prioritize your account.
We’re pleased to share that data sync and writebacks have been successfully restored for the majority of Bullhorn-connected agencies as of approximately 9:30 AM PT today.
The quickest way to verify is to check the Data Integration tab in your Sense admin — a green status indicator confirms your connection to Bullhorn is fully restored. Note writeback activity will also begin appearing in the Data Audit tab, though it may take some time for recent writeback logs to populate as the system catches up.
A small number of agencies may require additional credential updates. Please reach out to your CSM or contact Sense Support at https://support.sensehq.co/hc/en-us/requests/new and we will prioritize your account.
We want to thank you for your patience throughout this process. We will continue monitoring closely and will post a final update once all remaining agencies are confirmed back online
Sense and Bullhorn continue to make progress on restoring the integration. Over the weekend, we successfully restored data sync for a number of agencies and are actively working through the remaining ones.
Credential reset: Bullhorn has already reset API credentials on their end and is in the process of distributing updated passwords to affected partners. Please hold off on making any credential changes in Bullhorn or Sense — Sense will apply the updated credentials and restore your integration once they are received.
Writeback restoration: We are currently working with Bullhorn to resolve an IP whitelisting issue that is impacting writeback functionality for some agencies. Once Bullhorn addresses this on their end, we will be able to fully restore note and field writebacks. Data sync restoration is being prioritized in the meantime.
We will post another update as progress continues. For Bullhorn's latest restoration status, visit: https://status.bullhorn.com/incidents/95xrkmrn9s4y
Thank you for your patience.
We are continuing to work on a fix for this issue.
Sense remains in active communication with Bullhorn to restore the integration. Sense Engineering is fully prepared on our end — once Bullhorn reinstates our API credentials, we will restore data sync and writebacks promptly.
Bullhorn has a dedicated team processing API key restoration for all marketplace partners. We submitted our account credentials to Bullhorn on October 20 and have an active case on file (Case #06195418) to expedite the process.
What to expect once restored:
Data sync between Bullhorn and Sense will resume automatically
Any writeback activity (notes, field updates) that was interrupted during the outage will be evaluated and requeued
Customers wishing to track Bullhorn’s restoration progress directly can follow updates here: https://status.bullhorn.com/incidents/95xrkmrn9s4y
We will post another update as soon as credentials are restored. Thank you for your continued patience.
Sense and Bullhorn continue to work closely together on the integration restoration. Sense Engineering has proactively completed the necessary updates on our end to support this change and ensure we are prepared for restoration once Bullhorn’s systems are fully available.
We will continue to provide updates as the situation progresses. Thank you for your patience.
Sense and Bullhorn continue to work together to restore the affected API credentials. It has been confirmed they are actively working on reinstatement with Bullhorn, but no ETA has been provided at this time.
As a Bullhorn Marketplace Partner, Sense is coordinating directly with Bullhorn’s team to expedite resolution. We will post another update as soon as credentials are restored and integrations are back online.
For the latest on Bullhorn’s own restoration progress, please refer to their status page: https://status.bullhorn.com/incidents/95xrkmrn9s4y
Sense is continuing to work directly with Bullhorn to restore the integration for affected customers. During this time all Sense products will remain functional, however data ingested from Bullhorn is not up to date, resulting in stale data. We recommend reviewing any active automations and deactivate any that should not be ran (such as those dependent on changes to candidate status, placements, or other Bullhorn data) until synchronization is restored.
Once we have confirmation all services are restored, Sense will update any outdated keys on our end. There is not a current ETA on when this will occur, but we will continue to provide updates as they become available. If you have additional questions, please reach out to our Support Team at https://support.sensehq.co/hc/en-us/requests/new
We are still working directly with our Bullhorn partners for updates. For additional context on the Bullhorn incident, please refer to Bullhorn’s own status page for the latest updates on their restoration timeline: https://status.bullhorn.com/incidents/95xrkmrn9s4y
Important note: Updating your Bullhorn username or password in Sense will not resolve the current integration issue. The disruption is caused by invalidated API credentials (client ID and client secret) — not login credentials. Sense is coordinating directly with Bullhorn to obtain new API credentials and restore the integration. No action is needed from customers at this time.
If you have additional questions, please reach out to our support team at https://support.sensehq.co/hc/en-us/requests/new
We are continuing to investigate this issue.
Sense is aware of the ongoing cybersecurity incident affecting Bullhorn and is actively monitoring the impact on our mutual customers.
Beginning on October 19, 2026, Sense identified potential impact to Bullhorn integrations as a result of Bullhorn’s security response. As of October 20, 2026 at approximately 2:51 AM EDT, API credentials used by Sense to connect to Bullhorn have been confirmed invalid. This means data sync, writebacks, and related integration activity for Bullhorn-connected agencies are currently interrupted. Sense and Bullhorn are actively working together to rotate and restore the affected API credentials as quickly as possible.
Data syncing between Bullhorn and Sense is paused until credentials are restored
Writeback activity (notes, opt-outs, etc.) will be queued and evaluated for reprocessing once the connection is re-established Workflows and journeys will continue to run based on data synced prior to the interruption
What you need to do: No action is required on your end at this time. Sense will handle the credential update and restoration on the back end. We will post an update here when service is restored. We will continue to provide updates as the situation develops. For questions, please contact your CSM or reach out to Sense Support at https://support.sensehq.co/hc/en-us/requests/new
