Following further investigation, Shipwell has identified that the root cause of today’s login issues was a degradation in a third-party API monitoring service. This service is important as it is responsible for screening APIs for potential malicious activity. The third-party provider has identified the issue and is actively working toward a resolution.

I’m following up regarding the login issues experienced earlier today. We identified a problem with our authentication process that was intermittently blocking users from accessing the platform via Chrome and Safari.

Our Product and Engineering teams quickly implemented a workaround, and while we’ve made meaningful progress in identifying the root cause, we are still working toward a permanent fix. Resolving this issue remains a top priority.
