Impact: Customers using Semtech’s Essentials 5 offering may have experienced 2G/3G delays or failures in Data USSD, SMS & Voice services. LTE and LPWA Data services and network connectivity were minimally affected.

Our partner confirmed a network disruption on its network which is affecting Semtech Essentials 5 SIM 2G/3G service subscriptions primarily in EU and NAM Region. The issue has been escalated with the partner to expedite recovery efforts, and engineers are actively working on a technical bridge to resolve the issue.

We are currently observing recovery on 2G/3G (SMS, Voice, USSD) services and we are closely monitoring for stability.

Impact: Customers currently using Semtech’s Essentials 5 offer may have experienced 2G/3G failures in Data USSD, SMS & Voice services. LTE and LPWA Data services and network connectivity were unaffected .

We escalated the issue with our partner to expedite recovery efforts, and our engineers are actively on a technical bridge working to resolve the issue. We are currently observing service degradation for Essentials 5 SIM Subscription in the EU and NAM Region.

Impact: Customers currently using Semtech’s Essentials 5 offer may be experiencing issues and delays establishing Data, USSD, SMS & Voice services and network connectivity.
