Message from Breeze Connect:
This email is regarding the service disruption experienced by Breeze Connect and customers overnight.
Firstly, most of our servers have recovered and based on most recent information, we expect services to be fully restored within the next two hours (9:30am AEST).
A detailed run down of the outage is below.
Microsoft is reporting that at around 1830 AEST, 30th August, a power surge in the Sydney area tripped some of the airconditioning units at their datacenter.
While work was being performed to restore the cooling services, the server and networking equipment in the centre were subjected to increased temperatures and were shutdown as a precaution to prevent any damage to the hardware.
Multiple major downstream services were also affected, including Azure hosting which may have affected those hosting their 3cx instances in Azure.

Oracle (OCI) was also impacted where the Breeze Connect servers are hosted.
The latest information from Microsft, Oracle and our Breeze Connect infrastructure team is that systems are coming back online and full restoration is expected in one to two hours.
