SQUIRE experienced an SMS delivery issue lasting 39.3 hours that prevented customers from receiving SMS verification codes needed for login and caused delays or failures in SMS appointment reminders. During the outage, the service provided alternative delivery methods including email for login codes and email/push notifications for appointment reminders, while marketing communications through Engage remained unaffected. The issue was identified, fixed by the engineering team, and fully resolved with SMS delivery returning to normal operation.
