The migration of Timesheets, Capacity Planner, and Financial Manager to Forge: https://www.tempo.io/product-news/tempo-moves-to-forge is underway, but the automatic rollout did not start on March 31, 2026 as planned.
The deployment on March 30, 2026: https://help.tempo.io/release-notes/latest/tempo-cloud-release-notes#2026-03-31 only affected new installations and admins who manually clicked the Update button.
Recommendation: Do not manually trigger the update or reinstall apps at this time.
The automatic rollout will happen gradually over the coming weeks and we'll keep you posted here when it begins. Please note that once the rollout starts, it will not be possible to opt out, delay, or schedule your migration. You'll also receive an in-app notification once your instance has been migrated.
Breaking changes
Most of the migration is seamless, but a few things will change that may affect you, particularly around JQL filters:
• JQL filter syntax – issueInternal, Account, Tempo Team, and custom field IDs
• Tempo Panels in Jira issue view
• Keyboard shortcuts
• OAuth app URLs
