We are monitoring an intermittent issue affecting Kaltura media access within Canvas. When users click on "Media Gallery," they are prompted to “authorize Kaltura 1.3 API access” to their Canvas accounts, after which they may encounter an “application error" message. The vendor is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, users can access their course media by:
Using the Canvas Mobile App
Accessing videos through podcast.ucsd.edu (if applicable)
Logging into Canvas via https://ucsd.instructure.com (rather than canvas.ucsd.edu) to view video content.
Please note: ucsd.instructure.com should not become users' primary way of accessing Canvas, as some UC San Diego services and tools may not function properly outside of the official canvas.ucsd.edu environment. If users encounter issues using that URL, they should return to using canvas.ucsd.edu.
