Most of the backlog has cleared out, and performance is returning to normal. We are continuing to monitor the situation to ensure there are no additional residual delays.

A fix has been deployed. There is still a large backlog of emails that is steadily clearing out, so delays may persist a bit longer. Please not that we expect all delayed emails to be sent once the backlog is cleared.
