WellSky experienced a referral workflow issue where new patient referrals were unintentionally shared with providers from previous referrals for the same patient. This affected CarePort Care Management and Referral Management systems, causing confusion and unexpected notifications for providers who should not have had visibility into the new referrals, though it did not impact referral completion or clinical accuracy. The issue was resolved after 60.1 hours.

Customer Impact
In a limited number of cases, providers who were part of earlier referrals may have visibility into a newly created referral when they should not. This could result in confusion or unexpected notifications but does not impact the completion or clinical accuracy of the referral itself.
