2FA SMS messages not received

Mimecast is aware a small subset of customers are not receiving Two Factor Authentication (2FA) SMS messages, as a result they are unable to log on to Mimecast administration console or other applications. We are investigating this issue and will post further updates here.

Mimecast is aware a small subset of customers are not receiving Two Factor Authentication (2FA) SMS messages, as a result they are unable to log on to Mimecast administration console or other applications. Mimecast continues to investigate this issues with our 3rd party SMS service provider. Customers using 2FA 3rd party authenticators such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator are not impacted. All other Mimecast services continues to operate as normal. We will provide further updates as they become available here.

Our 3rd Party SMS provider has identified and mitigated the issue affecting 2FA SMS messages and we continue to monitor. Customers using 2FA 3rd party authenticators such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator remain unaffected and all other Mimecast services continues to operate as normal.
