Outage Details

8x8 is investigating reports of two factor authentication requests via SMS are not reaching their destinations. This is only impacting where two factor authentication is set to SMS and the number is an Australia phone number (+61 country code). We are currently investigating this issue and will provide updates as they become available. As a workaround users can setup email authentication as an alternative to SMS if possible. You can reset a users authentication method as an administrator. The user can then setup email as an alternative. Resetting Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in 8x8 X Series

8x8 is investigating reports of two factor authentication requests via SMS are not reaching their destinations. 8x8 has confirmed that our systems are successfully sending the messages over the appropriate SMS carriers in the region. We are escalating with our underlying carriers to investigate the reason they are not being received.
