Outage Details

We are investigating an issue where Dynatrace Database Extensions could potentially cause connection pool resource issues on the database side. This issue affects extensions running on ActiveGate version 1.317.

While we work on a permanent fix, customers may disable affected database monitoring extensions (i.e. Oracle Database Monitoring) on the relevant configuration pages.

We have identified the root cause and are actively working on the permanent fix.

It was confirmed that the issue only impacts a small subset of environments.
As a workaround, customers may disable affected database monitoring extensions (i.e. Oracle Database Monitoring) on the relevant configuration pages.

This status will be updated as soon as the roll-out of the fix started.

We have completed and verified the fix for this issue. This is being prepared for deployment to tenants over the next hour. Once the deployment is complete, we will confirm here.

The deployment has completed and the updated ActiveGate version 1.317.46, which resolves this issue, has been pushed to Dynatrace Environments.

Once the ActiveGates have been upgraded to the new version in your environment, re-enable any Dynatrace Database Extension that was disabled in response to this incident.

If auto-update was disabled due to this issue, re-enable that feature, and ActiveGates will update.
