Starting June 17 at 19:47 UTC, Expel's phishing submission processing stopped working for approximately 14.3 hours, preventing the creation of Phishing Expel Alerts and leaving submitted suspicious emails unanalyzed. The root cause was identified and escalated to a vendor for remediation. The incident was resolved on June 18 at 09:29 UTC, with queued submissions expected to be processed once service was fully restored.
