OIT is investigating an incident starting at 7:45PM on 11/19/2024 affecting github.gatech.edu, where logging in is sometimes not possible, and when able to log in, some pages are unavailable. We will provide updates as soon as they become available.
OIT Collaboration Engineers have been made aware that GitHub is having issues. They are currently investigating the root cause and are working to have it resolved as quick as possible. We appreciate your patience.
The Collaboration Engineers are in the process of restarting portions of the Github service to see if it will bring availability back. This process will take a bit of time to complete. We appreciate your patience and will provide further updates as soon as they become available.
The reboot of the Github services appears to be successful and repositories should be accessible now. OIT will continue to monitor the situation.
