IONOS Cloud experienced a 66.8-hour partial connectivity degradation affecting its control plane, causing increased provisioning times and intermittent access issues with the Data Center Designer and API across Managed Kubernetes and general provisioning services. Existing running virtual data center resources remained unaffected throughout the incident. A fix was implemented on July 5, 2026, with full resolution confirmed on July 8, 2026; a root cause analysis is pending.

We are currently experiencing increased processing times for provisioning orders initiated via the Data Center Designer (DCD) or API. Additionally, intermittent connectivity issues may occur when accessing the Data Center Designer or API.
Please note that this issue is not limited to Managed Kubernetes services and may impact all cloud workloads involving new provisioning or modifications.
