The issue causing delays in Email OTP delivery has been resolved, and services are currently being monitored.

Google’s engineering team is aware that some Gmail users are experiencing misclassification of emails in their inbox and additional spam warnings.
They are actively working to resolve the issue and will share more details soon

Gmail users might see banners indicating missing spam checks.

We are experiencing an issue with Gmail beginning on Saturday, 2026-01-24 05:02 US/Pacific.

Users might experience the following banner: “Be careful with this message. Gmail hasn't scanned this message for spam, unverified senders, or harmful software.”

We advise the users to be extra diligent in lieu of missing spam checks.

We are currently experiencing a degradation affecting sign-in to the Klarna App. Some users may be unable to receive Email OTPs, which is impacting their ability to complete the sign-in flow.

Initial indications suggest the issue may be related to email delivery via Gmail. We are actively investigating and working to restore normal service as quickly as possible.
