Lever experienced a scheduling outage from April 21-23, 2026, where users with Microsoft Office 365 integrations could not schedule interviews or send emails due to an internal encryption key rotation that broke calendar service compatibility with Microsoft access tokens. The issue affected accounts with Administrator Consent enabled for email/calendar permissions, causing "Could not load events" and "Your email/calendar integration isn't working" error messages. The service was restored after updating the calendar service to use the correct dependency compatible with the new encryption keys.
