We are aware of an issue where student iPads are encountering the following error when trying to access Google:
"Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network."
This issue is specific to student iPads and does not appear to be affecting other devices.
As a temporary fix, please remove all Google domains from the MITM section in School Manager. You can find this setting under:
Configuration → Mobile Agent
Please note that this change will temporarily remove the ability to see search terms.
We are actively working on a permanent solution and will provide an update as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
Following our testing, the issue that affected iPads connecting to Google.com yesterday appears to be fully resolved.
If you previously removed any Google.com domains from your MITM settings in School Manager as a workaround, please re-add them to restore full functionality. You can manage your MITM settings under Configuration → Mobile Agent in the School Manager portal.
If you experience any further issues, please reach out to our support team via chat.

Here is an update on the Google.com access issue affecting iPads.
Our team has been working closely with Google engineers, and we’ve been able to significantly reduce the severity of the issue. At this time, it is impacting a small fraction of attempts to reach Google.com. (about 5% of the time)
We remain in direct communication with Google engineers as they work toward a permanent solution. We will provide another update within the next 24 hours.
As a reminder, if you previously removed any Google.com domains from your MITM settings in School Manager as a workaround, you will need to re-add them to restore full functionality, either now, or when we have restored 100% functionality. You can manage your MITM settings under Configuration → Mobile Agent in the School Manager portal.

We are still working directly with Google on resolving this issue affecting iPads resolving Google searches.
We confirmed that the networking team inside Google made some recent changes relating to better securing Google against DDOS’s. They are in the process of rolling back some of these changes for our nodes and we are working with their team to ensure we get the support required during our testing of the rollback of these changes.
