Liquid Web experienced a major 31-hour outage affecting Cloud VPS and Cloud Dedicated hosting platforms due to connectivity issues between provisioning servers and RabbitMQ hubs. The incident prevented hard reboots, resize operations, backup processes, firewall rule updates, and order processing, while existing servers remained online but provisioning workflows were stalled. Engineers identified the root cause as a connectivity failure, restored services, and implemented corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
