In the meantime, users can manually resolve the impact by turning off the camera function in the Chat window for Microsoft Teams in Windows 11.

Title: Some Windows 11 users' cameras may turn on by default in Microsoft Teams if the camera is enabled in the Chat window
User impact: Windows 11 users' cameras may intermittently turn on by default in Microsoft Teams if enabled in the Chat window.
More info: The impact is intermittent and specific to a limited number of Windows 11 users who enable the camera function in the Chat window for Microsoft Teams in Windows 11 and then launch or restart the Microsoft Teams app from outside the window.
Current status: The fix has been validated and is being deployed, so affected users will see the impact resolve as the deployment progresses. Current status: We've identified an intermittent issue when using the camera functionality in the Chat window for Microsoft Teams in Windows 11. We've developed a fix to remediate the impact. We're internally validating the fix and preparing it for deployment. In the meantime, users can manually resolve the impact by turning off the camera function in the Chat window for Microsoft Teams in Windows 11.
